Highlights Dead Flowers (Stones cover), Patience medley, You Ain't The First
Comments This disc blends two very different acoustic sets. The first, from Argentina (tracks 1-6) is an excellent broadcast soundboard. The band is incredible and really loving the 'different' way they play the songs. You have to hear Knockin' On Heaven's Door with the piano solo! The remaining tracks are from their heavily bootlegged CBGB performance in 1987. This is one of the best sounding copies of the show, but it is still an audience recording, with some very loud levels. (those might have been how they played it - I wasn't there!) Of course, this was the first time they were beginning to promote the 'probably won't be out for another year' GNR Lies album. It is quite unique and every GNR collector has these tracks. Non huge fans will also appreciate the audience actually laughing at the lyrics to Used To Love Her.
